Mezzosoprano Alžběta Vomáčková graduated from Prague Conservatory as a student of Brigita Šulcová in 2013. Currently she studies at Music and Dance Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague as a student of Roman Janál.

She has been the prize winner of numerous competitions, such as the 2nd prize at International Singing Competition Ferruccio Tagliavini, Deutschlandsberg – Graz in Austria, the 3rd prize at Imrich Godin International Singing Competition Iuventus canti, Vráble in Slovakia, the 2nd and the 3rd prize (Junior) at Antonín Dvořák’s International Singing Competition in Karlovy Vary in Czech Republic.

In 2012 she made her guest appearance in the role of Ježibaba (Rusalka) at the North Bohemian Opera and Ballet Theatre Ustí nad Labem.
She regularly appears at the F. X. Šalda Theater in Liberec, J. K. Tyl Theatre in Pilsen, South Bohemian Theatre in České Budějovice, Revolving Open-Air Theatre Český Krumlov, National Moravian-Silesian Theatre in Ostrava, Gerhart Hauptmann-Theater in Görlitz and the National Theater in Prague, where she made her debute in 2015 in the role of Fyodor in Boris Godunov by M. Mussorgsky.

She performed as Amneris (Aida), Preziosilla (La Forza del Destino), Maddalena (Rigoletto), Joan of Arc (The Maid of Orleans), Tigrana (Edgar), Nicklausse (Les Contes d´Hoffmann), Siebel (Faust), Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro), Annio (La Clemenza di Tito), Third lady (Die Zauberflöte), Ježibaba, Kitchen boy, Third wood sprite (Rusalka), Fox (The Cunning Little Vixen), Hadač (Julietta).

She has been nominated by a jury of Professional for the 2013 Thalia Award in the category of Female Opera Singer in the role of Preziosilla in the production La Forza del Destino and in 2017 in the role of Jean of Arc in the production The Maid of Orleans at the F. X. Šalda Theater in Liberec.

Her professional concert and operatic engagements have involved work with conductors (P. Altrichter, R. Baborák, T. Brauner, O. Dohnányi, M. Doubravský, E. Dovico, F. Drs, J. Chalupecký, J. Klecker, P. Kofroň, R. Krečmer, J. Kyzlink, M. Němcová, M. De Rose, A. Sanguineti, J. Štrunc, D. Švec etc.) and with directors (L. Golat, J. Heřman, L. Keprtová, M. Otava, T. Pilař, G. Skála, SKUTR (M. Kukučka a L. Trpišovský), M. Tarant and R. Vizváry).
She has collaborated with orchestras including Prague Symphony Orchestra, Hradec Králové Philharmonic Orchestra, Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra, Musica Florea and many others.

She has appeared at prestigious international festivals in the Czech Republic including Smetana’s Litomyšl Opera Festival, Young Prague and Jarmila Novotná Festival.
In 2016 she participated a festival of Czech music in China where she performed alongside I. Ženatý, M. Kasík, P. Nouzovský and K. Fialová.
